Dating Identity Project
For this project I had several ideas but once I started playing around with them I found the one I like the most. It is my own version of the “Uncle Sam, I Want You” poster. I created my own color pallet and came up with three different boards so far. I am not sure weather or not I want to create one poster or multiple. If I do multiple I might consider changing the colors to match the different compositions. Such as, I might keep the picture color pallet in my examples for the “I WANT YOU IF YOU LET ME BE YOUNG WILD & FREE”. I might consider changing up the picture as well; maybe for the “I WANT YOU IF YOU LET ME BE A HOUSEWIFE” I could take another picture with a Windex spray bottle or a wooden spoon. Then I could change the color pallet of the third composition to Italian colors and hold an Italian flag perhaps. I think there are many ways I could play with this from visual to contextual. I could keep all of them unified or I could change each one to be a singular piece. For Instance, maybe I change the housewife one and make the whole image look antiquey. The major requirements I look for in a guy include but are not limited to:
-Being Italian, mainly for the Italian last name because I don’t want to give up having a vole at the end.
-Someone that will make enough money that I can be a housewife just like my mommy and every other woman in my home town.
-Someone that wont try to change who I am.
-Someone I can count on to be there with me through the good and the bad times.
- Someone that shares the same family values, morals, and beliefs.
-etc.
