Worst Job 2 - Dan Kozerski

  1. I think choosing to remove the background in the deconstructive pieces was a good choice. They are very successful now and working well as a deconstructive piece. Good work!

  2. the redo of the nine iron one is much better. flows much better. same with the the suds one. the second suds is a nice tone.

the last one is good too, but eh, not feelin it as hard as the other two

  3. I would agree with Camri. I think your decision to replace the background with just soap suds was a good idea. Of the three images you presented I think the middle one is working the best. I think the third makes the text too hard to read and showing the edge of the sink, in the first one, seems unnecessary. Awesome job.

  4. overall, i think you did a nice job taking the advice from the critique and applying it to your work. of the three works, i think that the deconstructive work is the strongest; the arrangement of letterforms is really unusual and interesting, especially paired with the suds background. of the three iterations, i think that the second one works the best. i want to hang it in my kitchen.

  5. I think the talk bubbles really help the flow of the first one

  6. Your second version of your integrative piece is more effective in terms of communication. I can more easily decipher what is going on and who is saying who. One small nitpicky thing I may suggest is where your speech bubble hits the middle line... maybe you should have the speech bubble coming from that line, like you do from your border speech bubbles (I hope this makes sense).

I think your second SUDS piece is the best. Your bubble and text are so successful I want to see that emphasized the most. The first with the background seems too random with the shade of red at the top? And the third is too bright.

The third is great too. I'd just make sure each section is the same size. Also, I'd suggest changing the tints of each photo.. I can see color casts in all three and maybe they should all be the same or a neutral setting.
